Long acres mile (1st turn)
This set of shots is from my 1st attempt at shooting horse racing. I went to Emerald Downs track to cover the $250,000 purse "Longacres Mile," the biggest race of the year in Washington state. I set up a remote and did a lot of running around, but all in all I think the shots turned out alright for my first time.

McDermott and Clinton
Sen. Jim McDermott shares a laugh with former President Bill Clinton at the end of a fundraiser held at Seattle's Benaroya Hall on Monday night. Recently, McDermott was ordered to pay Sen. John Boehner more than $660,000 for violating federal law by leaking an illegally recorded telephone conversation involving former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Boehner in 1996.
